Madi broke up with her boyfriend and just found out she lost her job, but she’s offered an art residency in Whynot, a small town in West Texas for 6 weeks. She’s looking forward to taking some time to start over and find her worth. Upon making it to Whynot, her car breaks down and finds herself being saved by a handsome man, Dallas Whynot, and they have an instant mutual connection. She also finds herself attracted to the pink haired florist, June Moore. She quickly realizes that June and Dallas have some history and pushes for them to talk about it. All while June and Dallas spend time with Madi and slowly decide to all spend time together. They agree to a “no feelings, friends with benefits” situation while Madi is still in Whynot. I loved this story! Between Madi growing and finding her self worth and June FINALLY learning that she’s loveable, I was crying and cheering so much throughout the story. I loved that Dallas was always the constant and supported both Madi and June no matter what. Received an ARC and give my honest review
