2.75 ⭐ Arran Genevieve The story's premise is good, but its execution is lacking. I felt that I should have been drawn into the story more than I was. The connection between the couple was lackluster. Sex scenes that should have been steamy because of the scenarios were somehow made not. The mild sharing scene felt off and didn't belong. In the beginning, when Genevieve was looking for her father by way of his gf, she was doing the most foolish things that could have seriously endangered her, and she was mostly oblivious to that. She foolishly gets herself locked in during the game, and Arron has to rescue her and must stay with her for a month. Arran doesn't believe himself capable of love, but it is obvious he loves her and cares deeply for his friends. The mystery of who is behind the killings is not revealed, and we are left with a cliffhanger. Which is unfortunate since after reading the first book, I don't have any real desire to continue with the series, so I shall have to google to see what happened in the future books.
